Care
Chrysanne® is at home anywhere: indoors, on the balcony or patio. By following a few guidelines on care, they last a minimum of five weeks.
- Position the pot Chrysanthemum in a light spot, preferably not in full sun. They flower for longer when placed somewhere cooler.
- Water the plants two to three times a week when surface pot soil is dry.
- Each pot should have drainage holes in the bottom so that excess water can drain away. The plant does not like a wet base.
- A temperature of around fifteen degrees is optimal. The plants do not tolerate low temperatures or frost. As applies to many bedding plants: only put them out in late spring. If you cannot wait, consider the following compromise: If it freezes, bring them in and put them somewhere light.
- Composting is not necessary. There are still sufficient nutrients in the pot soil for five to ten weeks of flowering.
